Off to the Organic Farming Conference
Are you ready for the MOSES Organic Farming Conference this weekend? I am off to La Crosse, Wisconsin tomorrow, eager for three days of organic inspiration and education. I hope to see many of my farmer-collaborators to talk about the results of last year’s variety trials, and to plan for next year! I will have a research poster at the conference, showing an analysis of variety trial yield results – this will be shared on the blog next week.
Also, I’ll be hosting a networking table on Friday at 1pm, so please come along to share your potato needs and ideas. As well as variety trials, we’ll talk about on-farm potato breeding efforts and weed management trials. I’ll be co-hosting with Julie Dawson, who will be there to discuss vegetable (other than potato) variety trialing on-farm. So come over to the networking tables on Friday at 1pm to discuss all things vegetable!
